She has worn many hats in the San Lorenzo Valley, and her most recent endeavors bring out infectious enthusiasm. Judy Anderson has created a life that she can enjoy every day—with work, family, and community service. She knows how to make each moment count.
Judy’s banking career started almost 40 years ago with County Bank of Santa Cruz. When she was in a position to take early retirement, Judy instead leapt to Liberty Bank, opening the new Felton office and feeling lucky to work in Felton—her home for almost her entire life.
Judy has been with Liberty Bank for 2 1/2 years and is proud to be a part of such a personal bank that is continually changing to meet the needs of their customers. Judy loves that at Liberty Bank, “customer service is everything. Knowing your customers by name, giving that extra whenever possible, and looking out for their best interest always becomes a win–win situation.”
Liberty Bank supports the San Lorenzo Valley by donating money to non–profits, and also by encouraging employees to volunteer their time for local fund raisers and community events. Judy can always feel good about her work in this community–minded business.
The bank joined the SLV Chamber to expand its connection with the San Lorenzo Valley community, “[for] the opportunity to network and support each other, and to build a strong relationship with the people and Businesses of the San Lorenzo Valley.”
Much involvement with SLV causes over the years, mixed with her common sense and sharp intelligence, prove that leadership is natural for Judy. Not yet willing to slow down, she has recently taken on a new post as the President of the Felton Business Association (FBA). Judy beams, “FBA is a wonderful organization that has the philosophy of wanting to always help make Felton a nice town to shop in.” The FBA members think and shop locally, which adds to the strength of SLV. “I wanted to be a giving part of that.”
