SLV Museum Open Call: Artist-in-Residency



The San Lorenzo Valley Museum in Boulder Creek has announced an open call for their 2024 Artist-in-Residence Program. The program supports local artists by providing them with the time and space to create a new body of work that correlates to the history of the San Lorenzo Valley.


The residency is open to Santa Cruz County visual artists who wish to research local history and engage with the museum's visitors, staff, and volunteers. The selected artist will be awarded a stipend of $1200 and provided with studio space at the Grace Episcopal Gallery in Boulder Creek.


BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and artists with disabilities are highly encouraged to apply.

Application Deadline: April 15, 2024 Notification of Artist Selection: May 1, 2024

Residency Dates: June to July 2024

Exhibition Dates: August to October 2024
